Nincs termék a kosárban!
Karoly Kos (1883-1977) completed his university studies in 1907. A year later, together with Derso Zrumeczky, he was commissioned to design the pavilions of the Budapest Zoo. During these early years of his career (1907-1914) the young, talented architect would marry and become a father, build his home, the now legendary Crow Castle, and complete some of the most important works of vernacularly inspired Hungarian Turn-of-the-Century Architecture. Kos thus became one of the leading figures of art and architecture in Hungary. Apart from giving an overview of the highly fruitful onset of his career, this volume details the most significant factors influencing and shaping the architectural oeuvre of Karoly Kos between 1907 and 1914. The exhibition upon which this volume is based was jointly organised by the Budapest Municipal Archives and the Szekely National Museum (Sepsiszentgyorgy).
